1. Who we are
ProjexSaas Pty Ltd (trading as RunProjex) is the data controller for personal data processed through the RunProjex service. You can contact us at privacy@runprojex.com.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data — name, email, business name, password hash, login credentials.
- Business & project data — client details, addresses, project measurements, photos, quotes and invoices you create.
- Support communications — messages you send to our support team.
- Usage & telemetry — device identifiers, IP address, browser type, pages visited, feature usage and crash logs.
3. Why we use it
- Provide the Service and your account (contract performance).
- Process payments via Paddle as our Merchant of Record (contract performance).
- Provide customer support (legitimate interests).
- Protect against fraud, abuse and security incidents (legitimate interests).
- Improve the product and develop new features (legitimate interests).
- Send service announcements; marketing emails only with consent.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Who we share data with
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record handles payments, subscriptions, invoicing and sales-tax compliance.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers — for cloud hosting, databases and storage.
- Analytics, support and email providers — to operate the Service.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting where required.
- Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside Australia. Where personal data leaves your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).
6. Retention
We keep account and project data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations. We delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer needed.
7. Your rights
Subject to local law, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month. Email privacy@runprojex.com to exercise any of these rights.
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging) to protect your data.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate core features. Where used, analytics or marketing cookies are described in an in-app cookie notice and can be managed there.
